About APV

A Legacy of Hope & Resilience

Founded in 2007 by seven dedicated women, the Association for Promotion of Vulnerable (APV) has grown into a pillar of support for the Kimironko sector.

We envision a society where human rights are respected, and every individual—regardless of their background—has the tools to build a sustainable future.

Teen Mothers Empowerment

APV provides professional training in tailoring, a skill that serves as a powerful tool for social reintegration. We help teenage mothers overcome challenges of stigmatization and build independent futures.

Scholastic Materials for Orphans

We reach out to primary school-going orphans across Rwanda to ensure poverty does not stand in the way of their education. We provide notebooks, pens, bags, and uniforms.

Goats for Families

Our 'Gift of Goats' initiative helps vulnerable families out of poverty. Goats are ideally suited for small-scale rearing and can transform a family's life.
